Expert: ALARMTEK - 2/4/2012

Question
I just got the van from a buy here/pay here dealership today.  After spending about a half hour with the key turned, but ignition not started, so that I could figure out all the extra features inside the van, I turned it off and removed the key.  Now the "theft" light flashes on and off and it will not start.  Can you help me figure out how to fix this problem?
