Car Alarms/Kill Switch still Engauged
QUESTION: Same situation as the other person with 1990 something any who's my remote is gone and valet switch stopped working. In turn I tried by cutting the 2 wires to the valet switch and making a solid connection and you probably know the outcome to this. What are my options I need this car to go to work in about 4 hours please let me know. Thank you so very much. BTW 2003 Honda Civic EX 4 DR 5 speed. Excalibur 500 +
ANSWER: Pull the alarm brain box and repair the starter wire.
12V|white |+ |ignition harness
STARTER|black/white |+ |ignition harness
IGNITION|black/yellow |+ |ignition harness
ACCESSORY|black/red |+ |ignition harness
SECOND ACCESSORY|white/red |+ |ignition harness
cut the Excalibur heavy gauge wires going to the
starter wire, cut off, and use a yellow butt connector to
re-connect the 2 free ends of the starter wire.
then pull the brain box and go to work.
You can tend to the re do later but this should get you to
work. You can unplug the brain, but you might loose the keyless entry.
I'd replace it instead of trying to shore it up.

QUESTION: Here are pics of what I have I am getting power to car still won't crank that 30 amp piece I can't find anywhere it goes back I repaired all other wires.
Ok, the 30 amp relay.
The orange wire is a ground input from the Excalibur.
Cut this and black tape off near the relay.
The white goes to the BLACK/WHITE wire in the ignition
on the "away" side of the wire. The other (red wire)
would go to the other side of the same black/white wire.
ie: STARTER|black/white |+|located in the ignition harness.
See pick attached. :)
That will repair the starter kill from the Excalibur.
