Car Alarms/New battery in remote

Question
Just put in a new battery in my remote but it will not open the car when you press the button nothing happens, how can I reset or configure the remote to work with the car now?

Answer
You appear to have lost programming to
the system in the car when
you lost power to the remote.

If you have your manual, see programing new remotes
in the settings area.

If you do not know the code or programming procedure,
locate and contact the seller for that info, or
try www.remotesunlimited.com to see if you can
identify it, and get the procedure sent to you.

They specialize in this sort of thing.

Good luck with it.
