Car Alarms/defeat disabling function

Question
I have a viper installed on mh 2004 Impala police car. It does not have a valet switch. I retrieved the car from service and the system was not on I drove it to my office, and when I tried to re-start it the ignition is disabled.
Any suggestions?
Go to www.directed.com and see if you can download
the .pdf file for your specific alarm system.
In the manual it should explain the reset or Valet overide
procedure.
If no valet switch, there might be a way through the
remote. This info is also in the manual.
If no joy there, you may have a problem that requires
either removal, or reprogramming.
Try the first solution to see if you
can figure a way out of your current dilema.
