Car Alarms/extending car alarm range

Question
I purchased and installed a Hornet 564t car alarm with remote start.  I am happy with everything except for the range of the remote start.  The alarm range is incredible but the remote start is very poor.  I installed the module high in the dash as directed.  As a test I wrapped some copper wire around the outside of the unit and ran it up to the windshield.  It seemed to help, is there some kind of antenna I could purchase that would look and function better.  Thanks Dean

Answer
Sounds like an antenna placement issue. If behind
leaded glass or heavy tint, remove it from that locale,
and go a bit below it, or the left or right windshield pillar.

Theat should help. If not contact the DEI seller
for some support and suggestions on better antennas
available.

I hope this helps.
