Question
What frequency should my amp be set at when powering component speakers with separate crossovers?

Answer
Hi Russ,

With a component set that includes a crossover, you'll usually want to set the amplifier's crossover switch to "full".  The crossover included with the speaker set will take care of sending the right frequencies to the right speakers.  This assumes you're using a 6.5" component set.

If you're using a 5.25" or 4" component set, or if you have a subwoofer in your system, I'd set the crossover filter for "high-pass" and put the crossover setting around 80-100Hz.

Thanks for your question.
