Question
i have a 1986 gmc sierra 1500 and i put the deck in it worked for about 5 seckends and now nothing but when you turn the key it flashes once and thats it what wood be the problem

Hi Dylan,

The most likely scenario is that you simply got some wiring wrong or not connected tightly enough.

The flashing of the deck would suggest to me that you successfully connected either the constant or the switched 12V, but not both.
