Question I am trying to clean the headliner in my 74 Silver Shadow.We just got the car after it has been neglected for some time.Can we use some cleaning agents and a wet vac,or will this damage the fabric? The material looks like it was stained by a heavy smoker driving the car with the windows shut.
Answer Hey Eric! You should Replace the Headliner on this Lovely Beast! Is the Fabric Mohair? It has a Short Nap like Velvet but is much Denser! You Could try Cleaning it but if it's Mohair OR a Velvet you will have Shrinkage and Probably end up with a Mess! Check out Fred Kanter Catalog!
