Car Upholstery - Aerostar seats

Expert: Cindy Williams - 10/25/2000

Question
I have a `93 Ford Aerostar that I plan to keep forever.  The cloth captains chairs are starting to show wear and holes.
Is it cheaper in the long run to:
a. Buy brand new
b. Re-upholster the existing chairs
c. Buy cloth covers

Answer
Hey Bud! Do the Original Seats Frames have any Damage? If they are in Good condtion you can have them Reupholstered in your choice of Fabrics by your Local shop! If you want to go the Cheaper and Temporary route, then get some Seat covers at your Local Auto Parts Store! You can find Replacement Seats at your Local Junkyard OR Catalogs like JC Whitney Etc.! Check around and get what fits your Budget! Cindy Master Upholsterer
