Question
Have leather on 1197 Volvo 850 wagon and 1996 Cadillac ElDorado.

1. What are standard & normal care procedures ?

2. Volvo`s driver`s seat has frayed bit (i.e., the blue color has worn off in a few small (2sq inch) places. How do I resore? Prevent more damage?

Answer
Hey Albert! There are several products on the Market for Leather Care! I use the following/ Lexol Cleaner and also the conditioner! I also highly recommend Meguiars Vinyl/Leather Conditioner! The Other I use for maximum protection, but can darken the Leather! It is called Mink Oil! It has a Thick consistency like Crisco! Keep the Leather CLEAN and Conditioned for Max life! You can't restore Frayed Leather But you can Minumize the Damage by Cleaning the Area and using a Shoe Polish for Leather OR Leather Dye Restore the color at least! If you like my advice Please "RATE" me! Cindy Master Upholsterer
