Question
Hi Torski,

sorry for confusing you. Yes Im taking Arabic as my major and I intend to do double major.

I'm planning to do teaching and/or traslator and interperter as my career. What would be the ideal subject between these three that suits my career needs?
(employment-wise, what subject would have the upper hand?)
- mass communication
- sociology
- political science

Only between those three. Thanks

Sincerely,
Alejandro

Answer
Alejandro,

If you are to double major and want to pursue a role as an interpreter or translator, of the three choices, I would choose Mass communication.

Understanding that communication is 80% non-verbal regardless, it is important to develop those communications skills because even though you may be learning the language of Arabic, communicating it effectively is KEY to any industry.

I hope this helps!

Claiming nothing but success in all of your career endeavors,
