QUESTION: Hey Phil,
  My name is Vince and I have a dream on becoming a famous actor for Disney Channel and yet I'm having trouble getting started. I had done acting befor in school ( sixth Grade(by the way im 13 soon to be 14)) i had recieved the lead role on being a student in a classroom that had treated subsitute teachers badly and one teacher even went insane. It was so fun i wanted to more acting but i never did anymore acting after. butlike i said before i would like to start doing it again but this time i want to be on a disney channel show so everyone can see. i also have the talent of singing! i have writen my own songs( total of 5) and after acting for a while i would like to make an album. but still want to acting. kind of like what miley cyrus is doing. so if you could tell me how to get started and what i need to do cuz im trying to chase this dream but im having troubles. so if you could help me make that dream come true it would be great

Thanks for writing. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you don't live full time in Los Angeles, you don't have much of a chance of appearing on the Disney Channel. 95% of the casting for the Disney Channel is performed in Los Angeles. You'd also need an agent, you'd need to get into some good acting classes in LA, and you'd need talent. Without these things, you really don't stand much of a chance.

QUESTION: well i had heard on the radio on some acting stuff for disney channel for a show but thats all i really heard would you also happen to know on where i can find an agent i've been looking for onr on the internet but cant find a good website ... if you could help me out with that, that would be great.

You won't have much like finding an agent via the internet. Again, if you aren't in Los Angeles or New York, most agents are going to take you seriously. Try contacting the film commission in your state or city and see if they can provide you with a list of local agents in your area.
