Question
QUESTION: hi him am 13 and very interested in acting i have been acting since i was 10. i have acted in front of about 200 people. i love it sooo much and really want to be in a movie.what should i do. i mean we don't have enough money to travel over to Hollywood or California but i really want to be in a movie

ANSWER: Hi Aleshia,  There are literally tens of thousands just like you all over the world, and it just is not possible for all of you to be in a movie.  The only way a young teen can be in a movie is for their parents to work very hard at getting them experience, training and eventually an agent. Then you are going to have to live where movies are being made.  It is a very difficult goal to achieve.  Good luck, Doc

QUESTION: hi its aleshia again,do u have any ideas on getting money fast,i just don't know what to do, do u have any tips or secrets u could tell me?

ANSWER: Aleshia, Like becoming an actor, making a lot of money takes a great deal of effort and time.  You are only 13, I am 70.  You have a lot of time to do whatever you want to try to do.  Relax, it doesn't have to happen tomorrow.  Doc

QUESTION: hi again i know it taks hard work, time and a lot of effort but ever since i was 2 i wanted to be in a movie. i really love it sooooooo much

Answer
well,  work on it every day in school do all the speech and drama stuff, when you graduate go to college and study acting or to an acting school or go directly to a city where you can get started as an actor, like Dallas or  San Antonio, or Atlanta or Denver.  Keep working on it all the time.  I did not become a professional actor until I was 40, but I had been acting at every opportunity for 20 years.  Never stop preparing and when the opportunity arises you will be ready as I was.   Being in a movie may not be what you think.  Movies are huge illusions.  Working on a movie is slow and often requires many hours of just sitting around waiting until they are ready for you.  On one call, I waited two days until they were ready for me to do my scene. It is a very different world that the  picture on the screen, believe me.  Doc
