Question
well i need advise to know how i can get into acting. i mean that's been my dream ever since i was a little child. well now i am 16 and a junior in high school and i just think of what i want to do when i grow up after all these years i always wanted to accomplish my dreams of becoming an actor because it seems fun and because i want show people my talents , well the ones that people tell me about because a lot of people have told me i could do really good in acting and that i have a lot of creativity and i don't know maybe that's what i really want to do. well i just need information of how these things work and what to do in order to accomplish this dream. thank you.

Thanks for writing. In order to be a professional actor, you need the following things:
1) Talent
2) An agent or manager to represent you
3) Professional Headshots
4) A good resume
5) Training
6) Experience
7) And you must live in either Los Angeles or NYC
If you can achieve these, then maybe, just maybe, you'll have a chance at being employed from time to time as an actor. The reality is that the chances of you ever being able to support yourself and/or your family solely from income as an actor is about one in 10 million.
