Hi Kenneth, My name is Catherine. I am 14 years old, and i would like to become an actress in my upcoming years or even now. I know that most young actress did not have degrees but actually were found. I just moved form England to he U.S and i do not know what type of education is needed for me to become an actress. I tried to search on 'Google' on what degrees i may need to have my dream job or career. But there were no good resources. So i have come to you for help.
I hope you are able to answer my question. I will be very gratefully if u can.

Thank You
Catherine

Answer
Hi Catherine.  There is no required education to be an actress.  It takes talent and determination. For a young teen to be an actress it also takes the efforts of their parents. Labor laws do not allow a minor to work or to sign contracts without their parents' permission.  Labor laws also require you to have a green card in order to work as an actor.  if you have any futher questions regarding acting or acting as a career please write to me at kencosp@aol.com. Thanks, Doc
