Question
Hello My name is Naomi Alabi and I'm in the beginning stages of running my own model management company. What is the best advice you can offer for trying to find more work for my models whether that be acting roles or just more gigs in general.  Any feedback will be much appreciated and I thank you for you time.

Answer
Naomi,

Thanks for writing. The best thing you can do for your models is enroll them in acting classes. I have found that most models know how to work a runway but can't act in front of a camera when it comes time to emote. They need to develop their acting talent, so make sure they get the training BEFORE you send them on auditions.

You should also invite casting directors to your agency to do general interviews with your models so that the models have the opportunity to develop relationships with casting directors. If the CD's like your models, they will be more apt to bring them in for auditions when they see a part they are right for.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
