hi there i am a indian boy who came to us for mba but i have a desire to act in comedies shows soaps etc. i had this aim when i was a young due to studies and lack of parents help i could not do it. i am 24 now no acting exp. but i know i have that x factor which is required to act. is it possible thta i can acheive my childhood dream. plese do help me out i cannot eat or study or do anything i dont know who or how to approach agents and is to  be done which city to be in etc.

Thanks for writing. Yes, your dream can be achieved with training, hard work, and a lot of luck. First, you need to enroll in some good acting classes. You have no experience, so you need to develop whatever raw talent you have and you do that by taking acting classes.

After that, you need to move to Los Angeles and begin your search for representation by a talent agent. The best way to get a talent agent interested in you is to be performing in something in which he can see your talent. So whenever you're performing, in a play, doing stand-up comedy, improvisational work, whatever, invite agents to see you. If they're impressed and think you have talent and are marketable, they may wish to represent you.
