Question
I'm curious about this whole deal.  I'm really looking to get into acting I just have no idea how to go about this.  I've done my research, I've looked for different ways to do a resume.  I haven't done much professional work, only a few high school musicals that i felt very strongly about.  I'm going on 18 and I'm just looking for some insight.  What do i need to do to eventually make it big, because i really wouldn't mind making a life in this career and for once be able to see my name in the credits of a good movie.  Sorry if this is broad, but i really am confused.  I appreciate any help possible.

Answer
Hi Max.  I have made it my life's purpose to help aspiring actors. The best resume info is in Brian O'Neil's book Acting as a Business, get it and study it, it is absolutely necessary for actors. What you need to make it in the business is : natural born talent for acting and networking as it is done for acting, experience acting, some classes, the proper information, the right appearance, an agent, and LUCK. To help you further I need you to write me at kencosp@aol.com where I advise aspiring actors from all over the world and from where I can better identify myself and send you e-mail attachments of information. Tell me what large city you are in or near. I look forward to hearing from you. God Bless, Doc
