Question
hi,
I'm 13 year's old and want to find out how I can be noticed and start singing/acting.
I can sing and play the piano, I also play the guitar but I'm not soo good at it. I wrote 4 songs so far but I'm still working on my 4th one, I also try practicing with the help of my younger sister as backup.
All I really want to know is how I can start and become noticed? For example if there's any spot for a new chracter avalible in a Walt Disney movie. I would really appriciate it if you could help me.
thank you,
sumaya

Answer
Sumaya,

Thanks for writing. I no longer work for Disney, and as a result, I am not familiar with what they are casting at the moment. You should contact the Disney Casting Department in Burbank, CA to find out how you can get an audition with them. The studio's main telephone number is 818-560-1000. Call them, ask for the casting department and then tell them you are  13 year old actor who wishes to show your talent to their casting agents. How would you go about arranging this?

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
