How exactly to directors make money when trying to start a career after film school? What is the average salary of a dedicated feature film director?

Hello Ivuoma,   I suppose that graduates of film schools take whatever jobs they can get while trying to start their careers.  It is the responsibility of the film school to teach their students how to become directors or writers or whatever they want to become.  If they do not do that, they are frauds.  There is no answer to the second question because film directors ofter negotiate a salary plus a share of the profits, but you can be assured that the amount of money is considerable.
