I know for a fact that this subject has been touched on before, but i am planning on getting a tattoo.  it is a quite large tattoo, it will cover one side of my torso and from my shoulder down to my bicep. its a tribal tattoo no abstract colors just black.  I also want to persue a career in acting.  Ballpark figure about how much will this effect my acting career.  Do they have ways to cover tattoos of this magnitude up if im good for the part?

hi.  and thanks for writing.  the only time i think that your tatoo would be a difficulty is if you were cast in a show and costumed in a way that would reveal your tatoo.  i don't think it will be a problem.  as a dancer it could.
