Question
Hello, I'm a seventeen year old interested in pursuing a career in directing, starting off by going to Columbia College in Chicago, but I'm discouraged by the thought of not being able to get a job after college. What are the chances that I'll actually get a good job after going to college?

Answer
Hello Tyler.  Well, you don't say what you want to direct.  And I don't know anything about Columbia College's curriculum in directing.  But I do know that college ususally does not prepare you to get a professional job as a director.  Write me at kencosp@aol.com and fill me in, and we can look into it a bit more.  Doc
