Hi i was wondering if you know of any good agents that work out of Philadelphia? I have heard of Mike Lemons casting. What is the difference between an agent and a casting company/ school? Does it matter? Thank you for your time hope to hear from you soon:)

Hi CArissa, Well the best way to find a good agent is to make sure that they are SAG franchised.  You can go to the SAG website and find them listed by city.  No I have not heard of Lemons Casting.  A casting company is not an agent and you need an agent even if you use a casting company, but if you have an agent what's the need for a casting co.  Agents do not have schools, it is considered unethical to do so.  Lemons probably wants to sell his classes.  I would stay away from the web. Except to get infor.
