Question
QUESTION: My question is, can you please tell me how to get onto Disney Channel in a show or movie. If you need more info about me you can go to my website which is KatieBucklein.StarSearchCasting.com I am also hoping you will tell other production companies about me, such as Disney Channel and show them my website. Thanks,
Katie Bucklein

ANSWER: Katie,

Thanks for writing. In order to appear on a Disney Channel program, you need to have auditioned for the show and been cast. To get an audition, you need to have representation (an agent). I don't know where you live, but without living in Los Angeles, the chances of finding representation and getting an audition are pretty slim.

As far as telling production companies about you, I'm not an agent so I'm not in the habit of recommending actors and actresses. Also, since I'm not familiar with your talent, it wouldn't be appropriate for me to recommend you.

If you're as talented as you say you are, if and when you move to Los Angeles, my guess is you'll pretty have no trouble finding representation.

Sorry that I cannot help you further. Best of luck with your career!

Phil

QUESTION: Thanks for this information, its very helpful. Do you know of any agent companies I can get because right now I don't have an agent. Also, you said you have your own movie production Co. If so can you look at my website and maybe have me get an audition maybe? Thanks,
Katie Bucklein

Answer
Katie,

As I said in my previous email, I am unfamiliar with your talent so I really cannot recommend you to an agency. However, there is a terrific resource guide called the Hollywood Representation Directory that you might wish to consider buying. It lists all the large and small talent agencies in both Los Angeles and New York. You can purchase it on their website at www.hcdonline.com.

Since I don't have any projects in production at the moment, I have nothing casting. Since I have nothing casting, I cannot audition you.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
