Question
I want to become a singer but my mom says that you have to have money or start at young age but i wont give up because it has been my dream for a long time and i don't know where to start my career

Answer
Hi Vanessa,   Here is what you do,  you have to take private voice lessons from a good teacher. Ask the music teacher at school for recommendations.  Then sing at every opportunity, as a soloist in church, at community functions, at school events, be in the choir and the musicals.  If you are good, people will start asking you to sing at events like weddings and funerals, and at that point you can start charging for your performances.  continue this and hopefully someone will notice your talent and off you go . Best wishes, Doc
