Question
how are you doing Mr. Nemy? i just finished my tour of duty in the military at the age of 32 and i want to start a career in film directing, is there any way that i can fast track this without going to film school?

Answer
Montise,

Thanks for writing. If you want to start a career as a film director, find a script you want to direct, hire a cinematographer, cast it yourself and go out and shoot it on weekends. Scrape together whatever money you can to finance it, including your credit cards, and hope that at the end of the day you end up with a darn good feature film. If you do, you're career as a film director will have begun.

Best,

Phil
