Question
I'm 14 and getting into acting.
I think if i sung, my career with acting will become stronger.
I think i have an 'ok' voice, not terrible, but ok. Do you think if i tried to take singing lessons, that 'ok' voice could turn into a great voice?
I don't want to do this just because it might build up my acting career, i love to sing in my spare time aswell.

Hi there.  And thanks for writing.  

Taking singing lessons is one of the best things you can do for yourself and for your career.  What they do is they help you to refine what you have and become more specific about the tone and quality and support that you give your voice.  

There are no guarantees that a voice will turn great.  However, if you work at it consistently and regularly, you could improve your voice significantly.  There is a chance (and you are in control of this partly) that it could become a great voice, yes.  But that is up to you and how hard you work.  

Once your voice is very well trained and you begin to audition for parts, it depends on the director and also how much and with whom you audition whether or not you get parts and whether or not the parts you get lead to a career.  

In other words, there are other variables to having a "great" voice that leads to a career that keeps building and getting better.  But taking lessons is the first thing you should do.
