Question
I'm 14 and I live in Illinois. I want to be an actress though nobody beleives I can do it. I have never been in a play but I like showimg who I am and expressing my self. I can play good roles because I always immitate people at school. People say i'm pretty good at that. Im going into the ninth grade so how could I prove to everyone that i am actress material? I want this more than anything I have ever wanted. How can I get started with an acting career?

Hi Britney, The answer is so simple and right in front of you. All acting careers start in the school plays, so all you have to do is tryout for the school plays.  When you get cast you can show your ability. But if you don't get cast after a few tries, you may not be actor material. Best wishes, Doc
