Question
Hi,

Is it possible for an older guy to get started in an acting career?  Lets just say I'm over fifty years old!  Also, if I went to an acting school would there be other older people doing the same thing or would everyone be a lot younger?  In addition, do you know of any acting schools in this country that like to have older people?

Answer
Of course it is not too late.

I would however suggest that you get involved with an acting class.

Why do you need to be around old people?

I don't think that you should be in a kids class but don't limit yourself to just actors your age.

Whomever you study with justt make sure that they can be found on imdb.com since I would hate to see you waste more time with an instructor that has never been in the business themselves.
