Hey everyone. I'm from Philadelphia and here in Philly i go to a acting school /agency. It might take me another year or so to start really acting. I could wait but, I want to get some real experience so i can get better at what i want to really do for the rest of my life. So my question is, does anyone know any good sites that doesn't ask you to pay (which are scams) to be an extra in a movie, or anyone who needs extras or to play a part in anything that has to do with film?

That's great that you're studying and feel ready to get experience.  I don't know much about Philly, but I'm sure that there are a lot of resources for you.  Check out Craig's List and your local art paper (such as Village Voice) at least weekly.  There are often good productions looking for extras or day players there.  Also, I'm sure there are agents there that handle extras.  Have you checked your phone book?  Call the agents listed, tell them your situation and ask what they are looking for and how you can get a meeting.  They will be able to give you more info on what's in your local area.  You're right.  You shouldn't have to pay anything for an agent, a casting or a job.  You may just have to be patient while you take your classes.  Are you involved with a local theater?  Often those theater groups have a good idea of what's going on in town too.  Also look at backstage.com for projects shooting in and around NY.  You may want to consider a PA job on a set, just to be around it and start getting familiar with the process!
