Do I have to take modeling class to be a model and can't my mom be my agent she used to model and was my sisters agent.

Answer
Modeling classes are not required nor necessary to become a model.  Since most types of models don't use resumes, listing training or classes you've taken (like actors do on their resume) is not a factor in whether or not you get the opportunity to go out on a go-see, or be booked on a job.

Your mom may be able to be your agent, or at least act as your manager - you'll have to check with the laws of the state or place in which you live.  Certain states require that in order to be an agent, one has to be licensed with the state.  There are fewer laws that apply to managers, although you still have to check with the area in which you reside.

If your mom already was an agent, it could be that either she was in an area where there are no licensing requirements for modeling agencies/agents, or she already has fulfilled any local laws/regulations, and in that latter case could most likely renew her legal status as an agent and represent you.
