i love to act but i do not want to move out of boston i also need some advice on ajences and how to start ect.

Bridget,

Thanks for writing. If you don't want to leave Boston, I'd suggest you start with the following three things:

1) you enroll in some local acting classes and develop your talent

2) get a professional photographer to shoot some great headshots of you

3) audition for as much local theater as you can - it's a great training ground as well as a great showcase for you to attract the attention of agents and casting directors

If you start getting theater work and inviting casting directors to see you, they may call you in to audition for commercials, industrials and TV/films that come to Boston to shoot. If you get cast in something, an agent is more likely to take you on for representation.
