Question
I want to get started acting as young as possible. I am only 11.  I really want to act in a play or a commercial or theater. My dream is movie. But before all that I want to know how to get started.

Answer
Hi Usama.  Better get a stage name. Or use your middle name if you have one.  It is nearly impossible for you to get any kind of professional job.  They hire very few youngsters and those they do hire have lots of experience, training and an agent.  They also have their parents working very hard for their careers.  To get started you have to act in all the plays you can find.  Lots and lots of them.  Then take professional acting classes and keep on acting and taking classes until you have a strong enough resume to impress an agent. Then your parents can help you get an agent.  This will no doubt take a few years.  But that is how it is done.  Best wishes, Doc
