Question
hey!
i really love to act and im willing to work hard for my dream, and ive already been to acting auditions, but i always have to pay A LOT of money. and my parents cant pay it, and they dont understand that i want to achieve my dream, even if im 13 years old.

are there any possible acting auditions that are below 500 dollars?

thank you!

Answer
Hey Akayla, You have not been to acting auditions, you have been to scams.  Big difference. Real auditions do not cost anything. Save your money for things you will really need, like good classes if you have any talent. At 13 there is not much work in the pro world in spite of what you see on tv.  What you need to do is get some real acting experience in school plays and community plays and start building a resume and try to show your parents that you have talent worth working on. Get off the internet which will only get you scammed if you do not know what's up. There is not shortcut to becoming an actor. IT takes years and years of hard work. Best wishes, Doc
