Question
i plan on becoming an actor when im older..but next month i might get a small tattoo on my neck... would this be a problem? i know there is makeup and editing that can be done, but i still feel like it might lower my chances of getting roles...

Answer
There's no question that it would reduce your chance of getting a lot of roles.
How much difference it would make is anybody's guess, of course, but why would you suffer pain in order to make your career odds worse?

When you are a featured player, make-up will work wonders for you, but if you get cast it'll be in a small role (initially at least), and then their interest in working miracles is pretty limited. A scarf or a turtle-neck sweater would be as far as they'd go!

Piercings are much less painful and easily hidden, if that's the way your thoughts are heading.

But even that --- Eeee-ew!
