Hi,
I am interested in finding out about reputable agencies that work with babies
and small children around the SF Bay Area/Wine Country. Our twin boys have
received requests from businesses to do photo shoots.  We want to avoid
scams and pitfalls of inexperienced or unethical "agents or management
companies".  Where would we go to to find additional information-website or
books to check out. We met have met with Julie Nation so far.  Any thoughts
on them?  Any assistance you can provide would be very helpful. Thank you.

The agencies listed below are affiliated with the Screen Actors Guild, and as such not only have to comply with state/local laws/regulations but also guild rules.  

Each says that they represent children, and that they have a modeling division, although you will have to check their website or contact them to make sure that your twins fit each agency's criteria before submitting them.

I'm sorry, I haven't heard anything about the modeling/talent school you mention, Julie Nation.  My suggestion is for modeling, just go directly to an agent - most types of models do not use a resume, nor is any schooling necessary or required to begin.

For acting I do recommend taking at the very least an auditioning and/or basic class in the type of acting one is interested in.  Perhaps Julie Nation may be a good resource for your boys if they want to go into acting as well.
