QuestionHello Ms. Interval,
My name is Mike. I was recently contacted on my myspace by a man saying i should look into modeling and that i look good in front of a camera. I was interested and proceeded to check out his profile to see what his page and looked like and on his page it stated that was a scouting agent for ANTT Modeling. I have never heard of this agency and I was just wondering if you have or if you have any information that may help me get into a modeling career.
AnswerHi Michael
Glad you came here to ask. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about this agency either. I just looked at their website. The good news is they say they don't charge anything to be with them. The bad news is its extremely difficult to get any more information without signing up. I am always weary of giving all of my info to someone before I know what's in it for me!
If you are really interested in modeling and feel you have a good look, I would start at agencies that you KNOW are legitimate. Are you in bigger city? Do you have access to an agency that has been established for a while? It's as easy as picking up the phone and asking them what their submission guidelines are.
If you want me to take a look at your pictures, I'd be glad to give you my professional opinion about you market and possibilities. I offer free online coaching and evaluation on my website:

I can better guide you if I have an idea of your look.
Be aware that online model directories are very rarely profitable for the models. Clients with money to spend go to the established agencies with the good reputations and the best models. Period.
Hope this helps some!
All the best,
Laura Interval
