Question
Hi. We live near Seattle and are ready to submit my daughters info for modeling and acting. We are also about 120 miles from Portland OR. Do you suggest submitting to agencies there as well, or is it too far to even consider.

There's a handful of model/talent agencies in Seattle, so I would start there and not submit further out just yet.  

It's not that agencies won't accept talent over distances - many will - but to commute for two hours or so each way just to go on an audition, can be costly and time-consuming.

One of the agencies below may be right for your daughters for modeling and/or acting, and hopefully close to you.  They are from the Screen Actors Guild list of franchised agencies, so should all be reputable and legit.

Both my acting and modeling resume/portfolio is available online on my website. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and also have available my actor's demo reel and voice-over demo online. I founded both the Florida-Models.com and Florida-Actors.com websites, which provide free modeling and acting info to the public. I have moved into directing, producing and screenwriting - and have won awards for my writing. I have worked in the industry as both a model and actress in Florida, New York City and Los Angeles until October 2007. I now reside in Europe.
