Question
Hi Phil! I was wondering how to audition for Disney Channel.  I have tried to find sites that will tell me about auditions but I'm worried that they will be scams. I live in San Diego and  have talent, I take acting classes (which led to to having a talent agent), I have had professional headshots taken of myself, I have a great resume, and my mom and I are willing to drive to Los Angeles whenever auditions occur. I believe I have A TON of experience and I believe I am eligible to auditions and be on Disney Channel so can you help me to find auditions for Disney Channel.  It has always been a dream for me since I was a little girl and I believe that some day I will be on Disney. Please help me! Thank you :)

Answer
Shereen,

Thanks for writing. You won't find a website that lists auditions for The Disney Channel. You can't just audition for The Disney Channel. You have to audition for a production that is being made for The Disney Channel. You mentioned that you have an agent - if you're agent is any good, he/she will know when there is a project for The Disney Channel that is casting and if you are right for any parts in the production. Your agent should then submit you for those parts and hope that you get an audition. That's how it works.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
