Question
Hi, I'm interested in learning to act, but there is absolutely nowhere in my town to get acting lessons or classes of any kind. Nor do they have a theatre. What can I do? Will this ruin it all for me?

Answer
Hi Sophie,, Well, that is often the case and it will not ruin it all for you.  Are you still in HS? Do they have plays there? If so, do them. If you cannot go to the nearest larger city where there are acting classes and community theatres, then you will need to go to college and study acting or theatre, depending on your ability and your finances. You may just get a slower start is all. No harm in that.  Best wishes, Doc
