QUESTION: hi!i'm paola,i'm from italy and i really want some information about disney channel auditions.if i send my photo and the resume to a talent agency (which are the emails of the agencies vanessa hudgens belongs to??) will i have to go there or they need just those elements about me?will i just receive a phone call by them telling me if they accept to represent me or not? the last question:when does disney channel audition for J.O.N.A.S. or Hannah Montana or other things??i know they want us to have an agent but i'm italian so i can't absolutely come to california everyday!!!answer soon,thanks
ANSWER: Hi Paola,
I'm not sure if Disney makes shows in Italy for the Euro Disney Channel or just translates the shows. I'm guessing they "dub" or re-record the dialog.
To work for Disney, they would want you to have acting experience or at the least, training. It's not just signing your name and being represented by an agency. Also, you would have to be able to live in California to film or just to be able to go on repeated trips to auditions until someone gave you a job.

QUESTION: hi,I'm paola,again... I've read the biographies of some teen actors who work for Disney Channel and some of them did not mention any previous experience,i mean before Disney Channel. It seems weird to me that every teenage who audutions for Disney has already got at least an experience:for example, the director of High School Musical said, in an interview, that thousands of people had tried the audition for High School Musical... do I really have to believe that they all had experience or training?
however, can you please answer also to the other questions(vanessa hudgens' agencies' emails and when disney auditions for J.O.N.A.S. and hannsh montana) I made in the previous letter?

Trust me, they almost all do have experience. Most started as babies or little kids in the business. The publicists often ommit that info, because the "Hollywood Dream" is an enduring fantasy. It dates back decades to Gloria Swanson or before. Her story was she was "discovered" in a "soda bar" (old ice cream shop back in the day) and was signed up! Many stories you hear of things are nice stories that are either abbreviated or downright fiction. Magical stories sell papers, not so much for hard work and waiting for years!
As to Vanessa Hudgens, she is represented by William Morris Agency. They are an old firm. http://www.wma.com/default.aspx
I do not have future listings or past for auditions for Jonas or Hannah. That is breakdowns sent to casting agents, not the general public, as they only want to deal with agencies.
Just a bit of advice: if you did find out through someone where an audition was, unless you are scheduled by appointment....they won't see you crashing the audition. If they find out who the actor was that told you or God forbid! -took you with, that would be bad for that actor!

It was sold to Lionsgate and Weinstein Co. for somewhere over 2.5 million. The role was "Mr. Griffith", a sex-ed teacher.

Ciao Agency-Austin/Georgetown, Texas. (Formerly known as Donna Adams Agency. Matthew McConaughey was a good friend and fellow member. I also have belonged to agencies in three other Texas cities, but they have since closed.) TXMPA -Texas Motion Picture Alliance. Various other internet networking web rings as well as Actors Access. I was instrumental in advising actress Krista Allen on getting her career in acting started in Austin,Texas (we worked at the same Health Club in the early '90's).

I have acted for 21 years. I studied under James Nelson Harrell as well as other talented actors at Southwest Texas State University. After college, I have taken classes with Julliard graduate Mona Lee, Bill Johnson, Van Brookes, Marco Perella and others in Austin Texas. I am constantly attending classes to maintain my edge and explore new directions. In addition to attending strictly acting classes, I have also taken business workshops with respected casting directors, such as Shari Rhodes ("Jaws","Close Encounters", "Raggedy Man".) Barbara Brinkley, Jo Edna Bolden and Donise Hardy, (Castingworks LA).
