QUESTION: hi am trying to be on the show who wants to be the next Disney channel star but the problem is its not in Miami and my mom says i cant go to California because the tickets for a plain is to much please tell me if they pick be to audition do they pay to go or do we have to pay the plain ticket please answer this has always been my dream.

ANSWER: I'm really sorry to tell you that very many people want to be in the Disney shows and only a very few make it.

What it boils down to is that even if you have all sorts of training and professional experience, have moved to LA and have found yourself an agent, the chances of getting work are very small.

Don't throw your dream away. You've got to build castles in the sky, or you'll never get anywhere. But now you have to build the foundations for the castle. Acting is a career: treat it like a job you want to do, read all you can about being an actor and see if it really is what you want, then look for chances near your home.
