AboutKitty Kavey Expertise I can answer questions from those looking to get into the fashion or commercial modeling industry. Specifically, the requirements, what is needed, how to find an agent, what they look for, how to avoid scams, the difference between what a commercial model does, and a fashion model, would travel/relocation be required, what is on a comp card and in your portfolio.
Experience Both my acting and modeling resume/portfolio is available online on my website. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and also have available my actor's demo reel and voice-over demo online. I founded both the Florida-Models.com and Florida-Actors.com websites, which provide free modeling and acting info to the public. I have moved into directing, producing and screenwriting - and have won awards for my writing. I have worked in the industry as both a model and actress in Florida, New York City and Los Angeles until October 2007. I now reside in Europe.
Question Hello My name is May Ali and I'm a action i done lot of
Action class and Now i have a agent for Action just about to get one now how do i get started on Disney Channel!!:)
Answer If you're living close to one of the Disney studios, (such as Orlando or Los Angeles# then you have a few options to get auditions for Disney films and/or television shows. You can submit your own information #professional actor's headshot %26 resume) to the casting directors involved with the shows or films you are interested in. You can submit your own information to open auditions that Disney is holding through such services as NowCasting.com, ActorsAccess.com or LAcasting.com. Or you can simply tell your agent that you are particularly interested in Disney productions, and please submit you for whatever auditions they have.
If you don't live close to a Disney studio, then it may be more difficult for you to commute. In that case you could ask your parents about taking summer vacation to where the studios are. If you're under the age of legal consent in the area where you live or are planning to go to, then you will need at least one parent or legal guardian with you to sign contracts and other legal documents on your behalf.
Hopefully you live near to a Disney studio so you won't have to worry about commuting. It can be done, it's just expensive to do and not always the best use of time. Congratulations on getting an agent, and much success to you in the future.
