Question hello my name is Derek
i am 15 years old and i am bout to start shooting for my dreams to become a major actor and singer.
i am looking in to becoming a disney channel actor, a major show and also hopefully an actor in major movies like transformers 3 and such...
but my question is could you plese give me websites wich show disney channel movies and shows casting calls.
also for paramount pictures, dreamworks studios casting calls for movies.
also how much would you think the hole thing would be, would we only need to pay for travel, hotel, and food?
or is there more? thank you.
Answer Derek,
Thanks for writing. If you want to be an actor working in movies and on Disney Channel shows, you need to move to Los Angeles. PERMANENTLY! You can't just come here for a few days or weeks. You need to be living here because pursuing an acting career is a full-time job. You need enough money to pay for an apartment, food, utilities, cell phone, car, gas, entertainment, headshots, resumes, demo reels, etc.
As far as websites, one that I know of that lists the most auditions in town is called LACasting.com.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Phil
