Hey, my name is rachel, i'm 14 and live near ATL. Ever since i did this skit thing at my church, i've had an interest in acting. I've gone to see theatre performances and fall in love with acting all over again each time. I;m not in high school yet, but i often help out with the theatre program there. I know i can act, and am told I'm fairly good at it. I am a natural performer... i sing, play piano and guitar and love performing in general. Acting facinates me. My question is, should i get into acting, or is it too late for me to actually get anywhere with it?

There are many examples of famous actors who only became known or entered into acting much later in life, so it can be a profession that one enters at any age.

If you want to, you can make a list of all the theaters in your area.  Contact them and let them know of your interest in acting.  Ask them where they place casting notices for upcoming productions, and you can probably get a good start.

You can also look into the Screen Actor's Guild list of franchised agencies for Georgia: http://www.sag.org/content/find-agent

Many of them will be more likely to handle film and television rather than theater, but you can ask and decide if you're interested in working just in theater, or combine theater work with commercials, film work, or even voiceover.
