Question
Hi, I'm a 15 year old male and I live in the UK. I am seriously considering a career in acting and would like some advice on where to begin. I know there are lots of pitfalls in this career and it will be very hard to suceed but I'll never know if I don't try. What should I do first? Thanks.
HI John, Well, the first thing to do is to get experience and training as an actor. Take drama at school and be in all the plays you can, Plan to go to university or academy for acting training OR get into Stagecoach if possible and especially The National Youth Theatre.
