so i know september is a long ways away but i want to get my acting perfected because basically all the kids in my city (wenatchee) are trying out for this play and i really want to get at least IN IT maybe not the MAIN part (that would be nice though:]]) but I want to get in it any tips? oh yeah, i'm in 7th grade and the city is deciding between Shrek and Lion King

Hi Erika, There is a wonderful book "Rehearsal" by Miriam Franklin. See if your parents will get you a used copy from Amazon.com or bookfinder.com. You want the 5th, 6th, or 7th edition. Read it and study it with your friends.  This is the best book on stage acting ever written. Best wishes and God bless, Doc
