QUESTION: I am professional theatre person from India. I wish to work as actor in any one play production abroad.
I always like to new environment to explore new ideas in theatre. If you can guide to whom and how to approach , it will be helpful.

What is the reason that you wish to work on a production here in North America?  Are you looking for work or are you moving over here or are you just expanding your horizons?  Are you union or freelance?  Do you have an agent or are you representing yourself?

The answers to these questions will help me know how to help you further.

Hi there, Upendra...

Well, the best thing I can encourage you to do is to Google the theatres in the area you want to go to and look at the opportunities on their websites.  Google film companies as well to see what is there.  

Once you find the opportunities, then follow through - apply or audition for those opportunities.  

Be persistent and consistent no matter what you do.  It will take time to find the information and to get into the flow of things in the area.  But if you keep at it, you should find some open doors.
