Question
Hello, my name is Shamia, as typed above, and I would like to know how to become a known teen actress. It's not easy so I've heard, but from the little experience I got from drama class and "Actin' Up" in Bridges to the Future, it is fun to me. I also watch other teen actors/actresses from TV shows I enjoy.I get good grades in school(Not like a 4.0 but above a 2.8. I was maintain to stay on the honor roll a lot.) I feel, strongly, as if this is  something else I want to do with my life as a teen, but there's a problem. I don't know exactly how to contact someone or know any organizations that are giving teens chances to show themselves, such as places surrounding my community.I live in Flint Michigan so it's not as easy as living in Hollywood. What would be your response?

Answer
Hello Shamia, the only people who can help you become a teen actress are your parents. You cannot do anything on your own because of child labor laws. So if your parents are not involved, really working on making a career for you, you will have to wait until after you are 18. And then you are going to have to move where the action is. Not to mention you are going to have to be terrific at acting. God bless, Doc
