Question
Hello Kenneth:

I will soon be finishing a theatre acting class, and I want to add this acting class to my resume.  The class was for eight weeks, one day a week for one hour.  I know that it is not much, but I would still like to indicate on my resume that I successfully completed the class.  What would I write on my resume to indicate that I completed this class?

I thank you for your reply.

Answer
Hello Kenneth, You do not know much.Among other things, never, never, ever say anything negative about yourself or your background, or anyone or anything else in the business. The class is the standard length for an acting class and will be great on your resume. You create a section called "Training" that goes under the section called "Experience"
You list in three columns first the subject of the class,. "acting" then the name of the teacher "Joe Star"  then the name of the studio, " Acme acting". These three columns match exactly with the three columns of your experience listings.  God bless, Doc
